We are very proud to announce that Jackie is 12 weeks pregnant! We're having a baby!
So with this rather big news we are going to need to be seriously getting ourselves sorted out over the coming weeks and months, mind, body, soul and roof over our heads and everything! The story to date has been not without the odd upset - some of you who know us will have heard that Jackie had a miscarriage in October which was deeply sad but at the same time gave us both a real sense that it was time to take the plunge into parenthood and that we should let nature take it's course from then on. And by Jove it has!
There is obviously a lot to say and think about but one of the questions we have been asked by various friends and relations is whether we want to find out the sex of our baby - but this is something we would both rather not know until birth, it would spoil the surprise apart from anything else. Tintin is due mid to late August.
So welcome Tintin! And thanks for the many congratulations from family and friends - there are quite a lot of very excited aunties, grandparents, great-grandparents and even a great-great-aunt out there - and we will keep you all informed of our progress.
