I probably walked over one of those bombs on Wednesday afternoon... En-route from Euston to Kings Cross at about 6pm, about 14 hours before the bombs went off. And then came back in the other direction on Friday as the chaos was getting back to normal which was all rather surreal - Kings cross was full of Paps and Cops who no matter how big the disaster still need their donuts.

Then there's the aftermath... It is ringing in my ears - what a brilliant job our Tony and George are doing to keep us all safe from the nasty terrorists by doing lovely things like bombing Iraq and locking people up for no good reason and getting us all ID cards and generally screwing up the world. In short it may be a dreadful thing that happened but it's no justification for clamping down on our liberties.
It just goes to show that if someone really wants to go out and kill a bunch of people then they will do it.
