Many of you will hopefully rejoice at the re-introduction of the Gallery after a long disappearance at the hands of slobbyness. It's made all the more exciting by the presence of a new digital camera - a lovely little tiny weenie Pentax thing. Hooray we said as the courier delivered it. Poo we said when the next courier returned my long suffering big-powerbook, with one corner rather dented.
WHAT??? Not only was the actual problem with it not fixed but they dented it and broke the CD drive? Anyway after some frustration and phone calls it sounds like it will get sorted out. We await the knock of the loss adjuster. Anyway it gave me something to take photographs of and more of an excuse to get the gallery working.

Oh and I found this very strange reference to Samscam on some blog:
jp2, narrated by the old man of the mountain, hassan i sabbah

http://www.samscam.co.uk/gallery/content/parkhill/apocalypse.jpgConsider, an Apocalyptic statement: "Nothing is True, everything is permitted" Hassan i Sabbah, the old man of the mountain. Not to be interpreted as an invitation to all manner of unrestrained and destructive behavior, that, would be a minor episode, which would run its course Everything is permitted BECAUSE nothing is true it is all make beleive, illusion, dream, art. When art leaves the frame and the written word leaves the page,-not merely the physical frames ,but the frames and pages that assign the categories- a basic disruption of reality itself takes place. The literal realization of art. The artist aims for a miracle. The painter wills her pictures to move of the canvas... One rent in the fabric is all it takes for pandemonium to sluice thru...
